Commercial Design covers the preparation of the preliminary architectural proposal, establishes the area program, performs the preliminary studies required and prepares the basic architectural plans. In addition to this, preliminary construction costs can be estimated, at a conceptual level, and if required, the corresponding certifications are requested from the competent authorities. 

Generally, a commercial premises will require an approval of Miscellaneous Plans. This type of plans contains the architecture of the project that corresponds to the plans with the architectural design of the project. Apart from the architectural design, the miscellaneous plans will include the plumbing, electrical, special systems, sprinklers, air conditioning and structure if required.
